Story
A group of friends gather for a wedding reception that turns into an existential nightmare when an estranged friend shows up with a mysterious game that awakens long-buried secrets, desires, and resentments. The music throughout the film is a variation on the second movement of Beethoven’s Seventh Symphony, as referenced in Amanda the Jedi Show: NIGHT SWIM is Garbage | Explained (2024). The first act really caught my attention
I did, and I think it would have raised your expectations. It had an original style, the concept was cool, and overall unique. I think this movie completely delivered in the second and third acts and they really took advantage of that idea.
In my opinion, the movie was crazy
It’s just a constant fear of any crazy thing that could happen. If you’re expecting an unbridled horror movie, don’t expect too much because it’s mostly psychological and leaves you speechless. It seriously took me a minute after watching this to process it all.
Damn, I’m still not sure I understand it 100%
The movie itself has great sound and soundtrack and beautiful lighting that sets the tone perfectly. The acting is honest and good, making everything believable, which is exactly what it was meant to be. Maybe the movie is too hard to understand for some, which I totally get.
I think it was worth it
